Nateshon Thomas, Great Britain’s answer to Japanese phenom Shohei Otani, has joined fellow GB Baseball star Richard Klijn at Bundesliga outfit Munich-Haar Disciples, according to the club’s website.
28 year old short stop cum relief pitcher Thomas joins the Bavarian outfit after spending 2016 with division rivals Bad Homburg Hornets posting a line of 304/.467/.435 with 23 runs in 28 games, whilst leading the league in steals and walks, and placing second in fielding percentage. From the bump, the British Virgin Islands native posted a record of 1-4 with a 9.74 ERA and 33 walks in 32 1/3 IP.
We’ll try and speak to Nateshon as the German season progresses, in the meantime, here’s a video of him in the field.
