MLB promised us that the 2023 London Series would be bigger and better than before, and they are living up to the deal.
London is preparing to go baseball crazy on June 23-25, with the games between the St Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs at the London Stadium in Stratford. These will be the first NL games ever played in Europe, and we will get the opportunity to see some of the greatest players in the world in our capital city.
And if that is not enough, MLB has announced a three-day celebration when baseball takes over Trafalgar Square.
When you are not in the stadium, then London’s iconic Trafalgar Square is the place to be.

- Friday, June 23: 2:00pm – 8:00pm
- Saturday, June 24: 10:00am – 10:30pm
- Sunday, June 25: 11:00am – 8:00pm

MLB Home Run Derby X – The Cage
The jewel of the Trafalgar Square Takeover crown is the MLB Home Run Derby X Cage. A dimension-defying new baseball game that blends real life and virtual gameplay using the latest ball tracking technology. Set in an epic cage structure, players will be able to send homers high into the iconic London skyline, reaching Nelson’s Column and beyond.
Opening your London Series weekend on June 23, the showcase match-up will feature teams of MLB Legends, Superstars, and Big Hitters, representing the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees and St Louis Cardinals, all competing to be crowned Home Run Derby X The Cage Champions.
Keep your eyes peeled for Ben Carter, Russell Eassom, and other sports stars making an appearance in the cage over the weekend.
